Gangtok, Pelling and beyond

Sikkim Tour Operator

Himalayan Luxury Tours plans Sikkim holidays from Darjeeling and Siliguri, close to the gateway at Bagdogra. We arrange stays, transfers and permits for Gangtok, Pelling and the mountain lakes.

Why plan Sikkim with a nearby operator

Sikkim is reached by road from Bagdogra or NJP, and most of the journey is spent on mountain highways. Our Siliguri operational office and Darjeeling base help us handle pickups, drivers and conditions on the ground.

What we arrange in Sikkim

  • Transfers and sightseeing by private vehicle, with realistic driving times.
  • Stays in Gangtok, Pelling and other bases, chosen for comfort and views.
  • Permits through registered agents where required, such as Protected Area Permits for Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, Nathu La and North Sikkim, and Restricted Area Permits for foreign nationals. Rules change, so please check current requirements.
  • Experiences: monasteries, viewpoints, tea and village visits, and high-altitude day trips subject to weather.

Sikkim on its own, or with the hills

Sikkim works as a single destination, or combined with its neighbours. See our Gangtok and Darjeeling itinerary, the Sikkim and Kalimpong loop, and the ten-day circuit.

Plan with the season

Spring and autumn offer the clearest mountain views. The monsoon brings landslides and delays. Winter is cold, and high roads can close. Read our Sikkim permits guide and best time to visit Sikkim.
