Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms for each journey are also stated in your written proposal. Please read this policy with our Terms and Conditions.

How to cancel

Please cancel in writing (email or a WhatsApp message to our business number). The date we receive your message is the cancellation date.

Advance payment

The advance paid at booking is non-refundable. It secures services with our partners.

Cancellation charges

Charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on what has been booked for you. The schedule stated in your proposal or invoice applies, and charges generally increase as departure approaches. [Insert your standard schedule here, for example the percentage of the trip cost retained in each period before departure.]

  • More than [__] days before departure: [__]
  • [__] to [__] days before departure: [__]
  • Less than [__] days before departure, early departure or no-show: [__]

Non-refundable items

Some costs, such as permits, air and train tickets, houseboat, hotel and festival-period or peak-season bookings, may be non-refundable once made. We will tell you in advance where this applies. Unused services are not refunded.

Cancellation by us

We may cancel or change a journey because of safety concerns, weather, road closures, permits, insufficient numbers or force majeure. We will offer an alternative date, a credit or a refund of the unused services, to the extent our partners refund us. We do not pay additional compensation.

Refunds

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within [__] working days of confirmation.

Peak-season and delay claims

Delays, queues, traffic and service changes in busy periods are normal and are covered in section 5 of our Terms and Conditions. They do not qualify for refunds.
