Darjeeling tour packages, planned around you
Most Darjeeling tour packages are fixed: the same sights, the same hotel, the same pace. Ours are starting points. Each itinerary below shows a sensible route and rhythm, and we adjust the details to your group, season and budget. A typical first visit includes sunrise at Tiger Hill, Ghoom monastery, the Batasia Loop, a tea estate, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and time on the Mall. A longer stay adds Kalimpong, a heritage walk or a quiet village.
How many days do you need?
- 2 nights / 3 days: a short break covering the main sights.
- 3 nights / 4 days: the usual first visit, with time for a tea estate and the town.
- 4 nights / 5 days: adds slower mornings, a walk and a day trip.
- 5 nights / 6 days: a relaxed pace with space for Kalimpong or an offbeat day.
- Darjeeling with Kalimpong or Sikkim: four to ten days, see the combinations below.
What is usually included
Your written proposal states exactly what is included. Typically it covers stays, private transfers and sightseeing, and some meals. Entry tickets, optional activities and personal expenses are usually extra. We never quote a package without listing inclusions and exclusions.
Seasons
March to May and October to November are the clearest months for mountain views. June to September brings the monsoon, with lush hills but road delays. December to February is cold and often crisp. Read our best time to visit Darjeeling and how many days in Darjeeling guides.
