Overview
This itinerary covers the essentials of the Andamans without a rushed island count. You spend a night in Port Blair, two on Havelock and return to Port Blair before departure, so there is a margin if a ferry is delayed.
It works well for first-time visitors with a short window who want history, a beach sunset and some time in the water.

Take a morning ferry to Havelock (around 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the vessel). Check in, then head to Radhanagar Beach for late-afternoon light and sunset.

A flexible day. Subject to tides, weather and operator availability, take a boat to Elephant Beach for snorkelling or water activities. Spend the afternoon at your resort or a quieter beach.

Take a morning ferry back to Port Blair. Visit Ross Island if timings allow, then Corbyn's Cove or the local museums. Overnight in Port Blair.

Practical considerations
Ferries and weather
Inter-island ferries run to schedules that can change with sea conditions. We keep buffer time before any onward flight.
Water activities
Snorkelling, diving and boat trips depend on tides, visibility and operator availability, and are not guaranteed.
Site rules
Timings, entry rules and closures at places such as Ross Island and the Cellular Jail light and sound show vary, so we confirm them before travel.
This is a sample itinerary, not a fixed departure. Sequence, stays and activities are confirmed when we plan your journey, subject to availability, season, permits and local conditions.
