Practical considerations

Road conditions

The Darjeeling to Mirik road is narrow and can be affected by rain. We confirm the route before departure.

Facilities

Mirik and Kurseong offer simpler stays than central Darjeeling. We choose carefully and describe what to expect.

Pacing

Daily driving is short, but hill roads are slow. Add buffer time on departure day.

Seasons

Best in spring and autumn. Heavy monsoon rain can disrupt this route.

This is a sample itinerary, not a fixed departure. Sequence, stays and activities are confirmed when we plan your journey, subject to availability, season, permits and local conditions.
