Practical considerations
Weather
Heavy rain can close caves and affect waterfalls and boat rides. We keep the itinerary flexible.
Driving times
Day three is long, and you should leave early. Alternatively, spend a night near Dawki or Mawlynnong.
Walking
Short walks and steps are involved at most sites, but nothing as demanding as the Nongriat trek.
Permits
Indian visitors should carry photo ID. Foreign nationals should check current requirements.
